DFL (German Football League), which governs the Bundesliga, has decided not to sell its shares.
Protests against the DFL's desire to sell shares have been taking place in German stadiums throughout the month.
"In light of recent events, a successful continuation of the process is no longer possible," said DFL committee member Hans-Joachim Watzke about the possibility of selling shares.
Most clubs were in favor of this decision to sell shares, thus strengthening the league's financial situation, but now the situation is changing. According to German media reports, after the fans' protest, several clubs have changed their opinion.
