On Tuesday evening, in the German Cup semi-final match, "Leipzig" crushed "Freiburg" with a score of 5:1.

"Leipzig" scored 4 goals in the first half. Dani Olmo, Benjamin Henrichs, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Christopher Nkunku scored goals in the 14th, 15th, 37th, and 45+1 minutes, respectively.

In the second half, the visitors' chances were slightly disrupted when defender Josko Gvardiol received a red card in the 58th minute. Despite being a man down, "Freiburg" players managed to score a consolation goal in the 75th minute through Michael Gregoritsch.

However, the visitors were able to restore the four-goal advantage to secure victory in the final seconds of the match. In the 90+7 minute, Dominik Szoboszlai scored a penalty kick to complete his brace.

In the German Cup final, "Leipzig" will face the winner of the "Stuttgart" and "Eintracht" pair.
