President of Boca Juniors from Buenos Aires, Daniel Angelici, is currently visiting Chile, where he arrived to discuss the possible return of Turin Juventus striker Carlos Tevez to Argentina.
There is only one year left on the striker's contract with the Bianconeri, but it is believed that it will not be extended, and the player himself has repeatedly said in the past that he wants to end his career at his first club.
"Angelici arrived in Chile this morning, but we do not have any news about the negotiations yet," said Boca vice president Oscar Moscariello. "I don't know if they have already contacted us."
"Tevez is the ideal of our fans, a symbol of Boca and Argentina. If he were to return, we would be very pleased," he added.
"We have spoken with his agent. Juventus does not oppose our negotiations with him, but so far we have only worked with his representative," Moscariello said.
"Now we are waiting for when we will meet with Carlos and continue the discussions."
Tevez spent two years in Juventus after moving to Italy from Manchester City in 2013.
The 31-year-old Argentine is also of interest to Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
