At the U-18 youth friendly football tournament "Bundesliga Cup" taking place in Germany, two very unpleasant incidents occurred.

The "Liverpool" youth team participating in the tournament decided to leave the field twice due to racist insults they experienced.

The club itself announced the unpleasant situation.

"We can confirm that our club representative faced racist insults at the U-18 youth friendly tournament in Germany.

The player immediately informed the match officials, team mates, and coaches. Eventually, the team representatives decided to leave the field together.

Ultimately, the same player faced the same insults in other matches. The team made the same decision and left the field.

We are very proud of our player, who quickly reacted to the situation and showed great maturity. Both he and other team players are currently receiving all the necessary support from our club.

"Liverpool" club requested the tournament organizers and other teams to respond appropriately to this situation and make the necessary decisions" - stated in the club's announcement.
