On Thursday, the reports of the death of influential football agent Mino Raiola were incorrect. The Italian himself denied them, but two days later the football world did lose this warm person. On Saturday afternoon, the Italian family confirmed that M. Raiola had passed away at the age of 55.
"With infinite sadness, we announce the loss of the most caring and amazing football agent who ever existed," the family said in an official statement.
M. Raiola's clients included footballers such as Mario Balotelli, Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Erling Haaland, Marco Verratti, Matthijs de Ligt, Ryan Gravenberch, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Justin Kluivert, Stefan de Vrij, Hirving Lozano, and Alessio Romagnoli.
