The referee who blew the whistle during the "Juventus" and "Real" matches was revealed.

On Tuesday, the first Champions League quarter-final match between "Juventus" and Madrid's "Real" clubs will take place in Turin.

UEFA announced that the intriguing meeting will be officiated by referee Cuneyt Cakir from Turkey.

In the past, the 41-year-old referee has officiated four matches involving "Juventus" - the Italians achieved two victories and suffered two losses.

The most painful defeat was in the 2015 tournament final against "Barcelona" with a score of 1:3.

Meanwhile, Cakir has officiated in nine matches involving "Real" - the royal team won five times, two matches ended in a draw, and two losses were experienced.

Interestingly, the last two Spanish matches ended in losses - 1:2 in the 2017 semifinal against "Atletico" and 1:3 this season against "Tottenham".
