In the English Premier League another misunderstanding with the referees.
30 minutes after the Tottenham - Liverpool match, the visitors' team apologized.
PGMOL claimed that there should not have been offside recorded during Luis Diaz's goal. The statement says this is a "significant human error."
The goal was disallowed, and later the result was overturned in favor of Tottenham - the goal was scored by Son Heung-min. The London team won 2-1.
In the match, Liverpool players received two red cards. Curtis Jones committed a serious foul, while Diogo Jota received two yellow cards.
"PGMOL acknowledge a significant human error occurred during the first half of Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool."
