The regular stage of "Vikings" ended with a victory against the league's underdogs

Another last regular stage round of Futsal A League matches was played in Vilnius. The capital's FC "Bekentas" club, celebrating victory on Friday, had to play against Jonava's "Vikingai" the next day. "Bekentas" did not manage to achieve a second victory in two days, as the guests from Jonava won with a score of 4:2.

There were no quick goals in this match, and the first goal was scored only in the middle of the first half by the most effective player of the league Eisvinas Utyra in the 9th minute.

However, the "Vikingai" took the lead only for a few minutes, as "Bekentas" captain Arsenij Buinickij managed to equalize the score.

But the equal score lasted only a few minutes. In the 14th minute, E. Utyra scored another goal and once again brought the guests ahead. Moreover, three minutes later Laurynas Stonkus doubled that lead.

In the second half, both teams had opportunities, and another goal had to be awaited practically through the whole half. Only in the 40th minute, "Bekentas" player Vadim Pinko narrowed the score, but in the next attack, the "Vikingai" coach Jurij Jeremejev with a beautiful long shot passed the ball over the goalkeeper and restored a two-goal lead.

For both teams, these were the last regular stage matches. "Bekentas" finished the season in ninth place, while "Vikingai" will still fight for the title, as they remain in third position and have reached the final four.
