German football leaders announced an inevitable decision. With the increasing spread of coronavirus in Europe, it became impossible to extend the suspended "Bundesliga" and "Bundesliga 2" championships on time. It was officially reported that footballers who were supposed to rest until April 2 will be able to return to the field no earlier than April 30. The earlier decision by UEFA to postpone the 2020 European Championship for a year should help the main European leagues to properly finish the championships.
