
UEFA Nations League draw ceremony will take place on January 24th, but already it has become clear what possible opponents each national team can expect. 55 national teams were divided into four leagues: A, B, C, and D. In League A, we will see 12 teams, which will form four groups of three teams each. The winners of the groups will advance to the Nations League semi-finals. The four teams that finish last in their groups will drop to League B. In League B, there will also be 12 teams, divided into four groups of three teams each. The winners of the groups will move up to League A, while the last-place teams will drop to League C. In League C, which includes Lithuania, there will be 15 teams. The teams will be divided into three groups, with four teams in each and one group of 3 teams. The four teams that finish in the top spots will move up to Group B, while the last-place teams will drop to Group D. In League D, there will be 16 teams, divided into four groups of four teams each. The winners of the groups will automatically move up to League C. From each league, the top four teams that do not qualify for the European Championship will enter a playoff stage. In total, 16 teams from all leagues will compete in the playoffs for another spot in the continental championship.
