Vladimir Romanov hopes to sell the Edinburgh club for around 50 million pounds sterling (200 million Lt).

The businessman from Lithuania plans to withdraw from football and wants to get rid of all the teams he controls: "Hearts," "FBK Kaunas," and Minsk "Partizan."

Currently in Moscow with the basketball team "Žalgiris," Romanov told the BBC: "The price is 50 million pounds. Five and zero!"

According to media reports, at least two groups of businessmen are interested in taking over "Hearts," but they would have to solve the debt problem since the club owes 33 million pounds. They have not yet submitted any specific proposals.

In addition, in the near future, the Scottish team will seek to reduce expenses by selling some of their highest-paid footballers.
