The Russian Football Federation appealed to its fans.

Russia Football Union issued a public statement urging its compatriots to behave more respectfully at the ongoing championship in France. Earlier it was reported that at least 31 people were injured during the recent unrest in the city of Marseille. "The Russian Football Federation regrets the violent incidents both inside and outside the stadium involving our national team fans. We urge to show more respect to both opponents and their fans. The rules of public order in France apply here. We remind that the suspension of our national team could be imposed and the possibility of international sanctions," wrote the Russian Union. UEFA will announce its decision on Saturday's events on Tuesday. The organization also threatened to consider the expulsion of both England and Russia teams from the tournaments if the unrest of this weekend reoccurs.
