The scandal of fixed matches erupted in Ukraine

Corrupt football personalities have shaken Ukraine. It is reported that the local club "Sumy" has been disqualified for involvement in illegal activities.

It is claimed that criminals, using fixed bets, could have earned up to 10 million euros.

According to the press, over the course of a year and a half, fraudsters could have influenced at least 30 matches, with bribes being received by both referees and opponents.

In other cases, the team itself would try to play poorly and lose.

It is reported that most bets were placed in Asia.

Before the scandal and disqualification, the Sumy team ranked 13th out of 16 teams in the second division of the Ukrainian league in terms of strength.
