Over the past few months, Naby Keita, who has impressed with his play in Liverpool's tactics, is forced to end his season earlier than planned.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that due to an injury he suffered this week in the UEFA Champions League semi-final, he will no longer be able to play. He suffered a serious thigh muscle injury.
N. Keita played in the starting lineup on Wednesday's match against Barcelona, but had to leave the field before half an hour had passed.
"Very bad news," Klopp immediately commented on N. Keita's condition. "It is a very serious injury. He has a torn thigh adductor muscle tendon. He will need at least two months to return."
This season, N. Keita managed to play 32 matches and score three goals for Liverpool.
