On Wednesday, the second semi-final series of the Italian Cup kicked off - "Fiorentina" hosted the team of "Atalanta".
The teams treated the gathered spectators to a six-goal fiesta - the match ended in a 3-3 draw.
"Atalanta" took the lead in the 16th minute with a goal from A. Gomez. Just a couple of minutes later, M. Pasalic doubled the advantage.
"Fiorentina" did not break after this blow: in the 33rd minute, F. Chiesa scored a goal to reduce the deficit, and just three minutes later, M. Benassi equalized.
The second half started better for the players of "Atalanta" once again, with M. De Roon putting them in the lead in the 58th minute.
However, the final word was said by L. Muriel, who equalized the score in the 79th minute.
The return leg of the semi-final match will be played on April 24 in Bergamo.
