This loss occurred just a few days after the well-known American journalist Grant Wahl's death.
By the way, the latter's brother Eric posted a statement on social media, suggesting that it could have been murder.
Earlier, G. Wahl, expressing support for his brother, tried to attend the World Cup matches wearing armbands with LGBT+ colors, but he was not allowed through the gates.
“When I heard the news of Grant's death, I immediately thought he was murdered.
My thoughts were based on the ideas expressed twice by his brother. Of course, for now I cannot prove anything and our family is waiting for the verdict of US specialists," said E. Wahl.
