On Thursday, the fifth round of the European Championship qualifying group stage began.
The Spanish national team, still undefeated, had a tough time against the Romanian footballers. Goals from Sergio Ramos and Paco Alcacer secured a victory with a score of 2:1.
The Spanish team dominated in terms of created opportunities and had more than one chance to score three or more goals, but the Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu did an excellent job of protecting the goal.
At the end of the match, the Romanians tried to press the Spaniards, who played with ten men from the 79th minute. The visitors were saved from a draw in extra time by Kepa's excellent reaction.
Spain now has five out of possible five victories.
In their group, the Danish footballers achieved a crushing victory by defeating Gibraltar in an away match. Christian Eriksen scored two penalty kicks.
The other matches ended with victories for Bosnia, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. The remaining two games finished in draws.
