On Saturday, the 60+ age group futsal championship of Lithuanian seniors began.
This year, eight teams are participating in the championship, they will clarify their relationships in four rounds, where they will play against each opponent once.
In the first three rounds, each team will play two matches, in the last - one. The team that collects the most points in seven games will become the champion.
After the first round, the teams clearly divided into three levels - three teams won both matches, two teams experienced one win and one loss, the remaining three teams did not collect any points during the first round.
In first place is Kaunas "Kaunas" - they won both matches with a total difference of 10:2, equally impressive was the performance of Siauliai VFK - they also won both matches with a total goal difference of 8, and even more impressively, they managed not to concede a single goal (8:0).
After a victory, the joint team of Karmėlava and Jonava as well as "Skaistgirys-Žvelgaitis" scored on their account, while the first round was the most difficult for Alytus "Dainava" and Vilnius "Savingei" - they both lost both matches with the same result (2:9).
