The seventh round of "Serie A" matches has ended.
The first of them saw last season's high-placed teams Atalanta and Roma clash.
Both teams lost some important players during the off-season, but it didn't make this match any less interesting. It was a very close game.
Atalanta played more actively from the first minutes, but Roma players managed to withstand the pressure and take the lead after the newcomer Aleksandar Kolarov scored a penalty in the first half.
Later, "Giallorossi" managed to level the game gradually and preserve their narrow lead, so the match ended with a 1-0 result.
Shortly after, the rest of the matches were played.
The match between Inter Milan and Fiorentina was expected to be the most intriguing, but Inter's opponents were hindered by excellent finishing.
They took the lead in the first minute by converting a penalty awarded to Mauro Icardi, and the Argentine doubled his team's lead before the end of the first half.
Although the game seemed to be balanced, Ivan Perisic scored another goal with his head for Inter, making the result a clear 3-0 victory.
The same scenario played out in the clash between Crotone and AC Milan. The other team from the fashion capital also gained a convincing advantage quickly.
However, they were helped significantly by a red card received by the opponent's central defender Federico Ceccherini, allowing Franck Kessie to convert the penalty.
After this newcomer's accurate strike, AC Milan dominated the game, with young players Patrick Cutrone and Suso quickly scoring goals.
Interestingly, AC Milan's starting lineup featured a whopping seven new signings, and the aforementioned Cutrone had only played five minutes in the previous Serie A season.
