Today it was revealed that Gary Cahill will captain the friendly match between the England and Germany national teams in Berlin.
The role was given to Chelsea defender Cahill because Wayne Rooney, who is currently recovering from an injury, cannot play.
Cahill has played 40 matches for the national team, scoring 3 goals.
The last time England played Germany was in 2013. Cahill appeared as a substitute in that match, but couldn't lead his team to victory as Germany won 1-0.
