On Friday, the 11th round of the French "Ligue 1" championship started with very dramatic matches. The team of "Monaco" unexpectedly defeated the country's champions, Paris' "Saint-Germain," at home with a score of 3:2. Guests were led in the first half by Kylian Mbappe, who scored the first goal for PSG in the 25th minute and then converted a penalty in the 37th minute to double his team's advantage. PSG could have extended their lead in the first half, but two away goals were disallowed after VAR reviews. In the second half, the "Monaco" team found their leader in Kevin Volland, who scored in the 52nd minute to reduce the hosts' deficit, and then equalized the score in the 65th minute. The end of the match went very unsuccessfully for PSG defender Abdou Diallo, who lost the ball in front of his own goal and consequently committed a foul in the penalty area, receiving a red card. Cesc Fabregas successfully converted from the penalty spot and gifted the victory to the "Monaco" team. Following this victory, the "Monaco" team, currently in second place in the league table, is four points behind PSG.
