On Monday, the 16th round of the English Premier League kicked off. Leaders Leicester City, after a rest, played away 1-1 with Crystal Palace, who have been showing poor results lately. The "Foxes" had a chance to take the lead in the 19th minute, but Kelechi Iheanacho failed to convert an 11-meter penalty. The goals came in the second half. In the 58th minute, Crystal Palace took the lead with a goal from their leader Wilfried Zaha. After missing a goal, Brendan Rodgers threw his attacking leader Jamie Vardy onto the field, but the latter was quite ineffective. The guests equalized through Harvey Barnes, who has been showing good form lately, and in the 83rd minute he sent the ball into the net with a great shot. The "Foxes" rose to second place in the standings after these equalizers, at least briefly.
