On Thursday evening, the central England's "Premier" League 20th round matches took place. London's "Tottenham" had to acknowledge the advantage of "Liverpool" at home - Jurgen Klopp's disciples won the match with a score of 3:1. Heung-Min Son sent the ball into "Liverpool" goal in the 3rd minute, but after a VAR review, a minimal offside was detected. "Liverpool" struck just before half-time - Roberto Firmino scored during added time of the first half. Interestingly, "Tottenham" played in the second half without their leader Harry Kane, who lay on the grass for a long time after colliding with Thiago, but still finished the half, although he was replaced after the break. Trent Alexander-Arnold doubled the guests' advantage in the 47th minute, but just a couple of minutes later Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored a great goal to reduce the "Spurs" lead. In the 56th minute, Mohamed Salah sent the ball into the net, but VAR canceled "Liverpool" team's goal. The visitors managed to score nevertheless - Sadio Mane scored in the 65th minute. This victory allowed "Liverpool" to rise to fourth place in the league standings.
