The threat of losing positions has arisen for LFF leaders

Under the leadership of parliamentarian Mykolas Majauskas, the Budget and Finance Committee of the Seimas, Lithuania's governing body, says that changes may soon shake up the Lithuanian Football Federation. According to the member of the Seimas, a law on the introduction of direct management of the LFF has already been prepared. It is said that the country's football leaders who do not want to give up their posts would be replaced after consultations with FIFA and UEFA. By introducing direct management of the LFF, radical changes within the organization could be implemented within a few months. If the Seimas approves the prepared law, then the current football federation leaders would immediately lose their positions.
