On Saturday, the matches of the 21st round of the German "Bundesliga" were played.
The central match of the round took place in Leverkusen, where the local team "Bayer" hosted Dortmund's "Borussia". The match, where the word defense did not apply, ended with a dramatic victory for the "Bayer" team 4:3.
Kevin Volland put the hosts ahead in the 20th minute, but BVB quickly equalized - just two minutes later Mats Hummels scored, and in the 33rd minute Emre Can marked his return to Germany with a fantastic strike.
However, "Bayer" equalized just before halftime and continued the battle in the second half.
The second half started better for the opponents from Dortmund - Raphael Guerreiro brought them back in the lead in the 65th minute.
As the match was coming to an end, BVB had another chance to score a fourth goal, but "Bayer" launched a lightning-fast attack and achieved an impressive victory.
In the 81st minute, Leon Bailey equalized, and in the next attack, "Bayer" captain Lars Bender sent the BVB team into a knockout with a header.
With this setback, "Borussia" ended their winning streak, which lasted for three matches. "Bayer" jumped to fifth place after the victory.
