The ticket sales for the LFF Super Cup match are starting

The first official matches of the Lithuanian football season this year will traditionally be a showdown for the TOPsport LFF Super Cup trophy.

This year, these matches will be played on February 25 (Sunday), from 18:00 at the Vilnius "Sportima" arena, where the champions of the last season's A League FK "Panevėžys" and the winners of the LFF Cup FK "TransINVEST" will meet.

Ticket sales for these matches started on Wednesday .

The theme of this year's matches is the season premiere. Last year, both teams created stories worthy of movies, when the Panevėžys club defied forecasts and triumphed in the highest Lithuanian league, while the "TransINVEST" club easily won the First League title and sensationally won the LFF Cup, blocking three A League teams on their way to the trophy and beating the "Šiauliai" football players in the final.

Both teams this year will seek to extend their beautiful stories and mark the season premiere with another fought-for trophy and start writing a script for the second part of their dream movie, and who will succeed in doing so will be revealed on February 25 in Vilnius.

"Panevėžys" has so far won this title only once, when they did so in the 2021 matches against "Žalgiris" in Vilnius, while "TransINVEST" will play for the TOPsport LFF Super Cup for the first time.
