On Tuesday, the fourth round of the Champions League began, and the Lithuanian familiar Swedish club "Malmo" travelled to Ukraine to play against Donetsk's "Shakhtar" team, losing 0:4. However, before the match, several "Malmo" fans experienced a real nightmare. The Swedish media reported that 25-30 black-clad and masked Ukrainians gathered outside a hotel in Lviv.
There they were waiting for 15 "Malmo" supporters who arrived in Ukraine on Tuesday morning.
Ukrainian football fans immediately attacked the Swedes, and at least one of them was taken to the hospital with head injuries.
The Swedes reported that hooligans threw bottles and chairs at the visiting fans. On Monday, Ukrainian football hooligans attacked "Malmo" supporters. Then, 30 men with covered faces attacked the bus. Witnesses claim that the brawl involved not "Shakhtar" ultras, but local club Lviv's "Karpaty" fans.
