It seems that the much criticized "Premier" league for not using VAR will try to correct its mistakes.
Sky Sports reports that the VAR system will be tested in 15 "Premier" league matches this season.
It is announced that The Professional Game Match Officials Limited wants to prove that the system works perfectly before presenting it to the "Premier" league leaders next year. It is desired that VAR will operate in every "Premier" league match next season.
The first test should be carried out on September 15th in five matches, all starting at 5 pm Lithuanian time. This will test whether the referees at the VAR headquarters can work on multiple matches at once.
Interestingly, the VAR headquarters will only try to simulate real match scenarios, as the team in the headquarters and the referees at the matches will have no contact with each other.
VAR will also be tested in selected FA Cup matches.
