The 29th round of the "TopSport A lyga" ended at the "Aukštaitijos" stadium. The local team "Panevėžys," after a tough battle with Marijampolė's "Sūduva," ended in a draw with a score of 0:0.

The first dangerous attack near the Marijampolė goal occurred in the 9th minute. In the penalty area, 20-year-old Domantas Vaičekauskas, receiving a pass from Jeffrey Sarpong, struck towards the goal defended by Giedrius Zenkevičius, but the goalkeeper caught the ball. A few minutes later, defender Linas Klimavičius also tried his luck, but the ball flew past the goal.

In the middle of the half, the Panevėžys players once again tried to score, but this time Roberto Mazano's header went wide.

In the 34th minute, the Sūduva team created an opportunity as Darius Stankevičius crafted a chance to shoot and fired towards the goal defended by Vytautas Černiauskas, who saved the team from a more serious predicament.

The second half started with a dangerous set-piece from the home team – J. Sarpong found R. Mazan with a pass, who shot directly at goalkeeper G. Zenkevičius. Moments later, Artemas Fedorovas delivered a sharp pass into the penalty area, and R. Mazanas almost redirected the ball into his own net this time.

In the 73rd minute, A. Fedorovas attempted to overpower the opposing goalkeeper with a powerful shot, but the Panevėžys team was saved by V. Černiauskas's effective play.

At the end of the second half, Nokolajus Solodovnikov could have sealed the victory for the "Sūduva" team, but he failed to send the ball into the net against V. Černiauskas.

With another point gained, the Marijampolė team caught up with "TransInvest" in eighth place, now having 26 points, while the Panevėžys team sits in tenth place with 25 points.
