On Saturday, the 7th round of the "SMScredit.lt A Lyga" continues in Lithuania, with three matches played.
Vilnius' "Žalgiris" humiliated their opponents on the road. Marekas Zubo's team from the capital city crushed Alytus' "Dainava" 8-0, who haven't scored a single goal this season.
The scorers for the winning team were Serge Nyuiadzi, Edvinas Baniulis, and Eivinas Zagurskas, Algis Jankauskas, and Andrius Velička each scored twice.
Meanwhile, in Klaipėda, the local team "Granitas" secured a dramatic victory. The hosts managed to snatch a minimal win in front of their own fans towards the end of the match.
Artūras Kurbangalijevas became the hero of the "Klaipėdos Granitas" team, scoring the decisive goal in added time of the second half.
For "Banga," this loss was their first of the season. Interestingly, until now, the team from Gargždai had not conceded a single goal. The team from the port city temporarily rose to fifth place.
In other matches, Panevėžys' "Ekranas" let victory slip through their fingers. Playing at their stadium, Valdas Dambrauskas' team settled for a 2-2 draw with "Trakai."
