In the Spanish championship, having finished tenth, coach Juan Ramos decided to leave the team.

Ramos said he rejected the offer from "Malaga" to extend his contract and left the club on his own will. It is believed that he wants to coach another team, with the vacant coaching position in Madrid being his main interest.

"I am now a completely free coach, ready to train any team," Ramos said. "We did not extend the contract by mutual agreement. Now my future is in the hands of my agent and we decided to look for a different type of team than "Malaga".

"This is really not about money," continued the coach who willingly became unemployed. "We did not talk about money. Our views on team planning just diverged."

Ramos became the third coach in the Spanish championship to leave his team this week. On Monday, Carlos Queirozas left his position as coach of "Real", followed later by Victor Fernandez, coach of "Betis", and Gregorio Manzano, coach of "Atletico", who is considered one of the favorites to take the vacant coaching position at "Malaga".
