FIFA (International Football Federation) has received an important request from the Ukrainian Football Federation.
"Sky Sports" journalist Kaveh Solkehol says that the Ukrainian Football Federation has made a request to FIFA organization to remove the Iranian national team from the upcoming World Cup.
Earlier, Iranian athletes themselves made a similar request against their own country. However, the reasons for these requests are different.
Ukraine justifies its request by stating that Iran actively helps Russia in destroying Ukraine.
The United Kingdom began imposing sanctions on this Asian country after Iran began supplying drones to Russia.
Iranian athletes are unhappy with the situation regarding women's rights within the country. Women in Iran do not have the right to attend football matches, which is why FIFA had previously given an ultimatum to Iran.
