Veteran Ryan Giggs has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

This means that the 37-year-old footballer will have spent more than two decades in the ranks of the 'Red Devils' - his debut took place on March 2, 1991.

"It's wonderful to know that I still contribute to the team's success. I believe I can be useful," Giggs said. "I always wanted to represent 'Man Utd' and I'm lucky that I can do it for so long."

In Manchester United's ranks, Giggs has played in more than 850 matches. Recently, he appeared in his 600th game in the English championship.
