Futsal LFF Cup saw two quarter-final matches played, and in the first of them a huge surprise was recorded. Defending champions "Kauno Žalgiris", who had not lost yet this season, fell to Jonava's "Vikingus" after a dramatic battle. Playing at home, "Vikingai" managed to defeat the titled opponents with a score of 3:2 in the last minute. "Kauno Žalgiris" started the match great - already in the 3rd minute Albertas Voskunovičius put the visitors ahead. However, the team did not hold on to the lead after the quick goal and "Vikingai" did not let in more goals in this period. True, "Kauno Žalgiris" had a great opportunity to score another goal, but failed to convert a penalty kick. Moreover, "Vikingai" equalized just before halftime after a precise shot from Paulius Osauskas. Starting the second half well, "Vikingai" took the lead after just a few minutes when Genaras Samsonikas scored for the first time in these matches. "Kauno Žalgiris" reacted quickly to this situation and Marcelo equalized the score after three minutes. It remained level until the end of the match. It even seemed that the winner would not be determined in regular time, but in the last minute of the match Gytis Vasylius became the hero of "Vikingus" and with his strike led the team to the semi-finals of the cup. In the other quarter-final match, a very fierce battle took place and victory was achieved only in the last minute. It was achieved by Gargždai's "Pramogos", who defeated ŠSPC "Radviliškis" 6:5. The guests from Radviliškis broke the ice first and scored a goal in the 5th minute, but within the next ten minutes "Pramogos" managed to score four goals in a row and gained a solid lead. However, before halftime "Radviliškis" narrowed the gap, and immediately after it "Pramogos" scored an own goal and the score was 4:3. In the second half, Algimantas Bačanskis restored a two-goal lead for the Gargždai team, but quick goals from Nerijus Volkovas and Karolis Kazokaitis restored the "status quo", so the end of the match was very tense. However, "Pramogos" eventually won this tense battle. Aurimas Skurdelis scored the winning goal in the last minute of the match and opened the doors to the semi-finals for the "Pramogos" team.
