Last weekend, another round of matches was played in the strongest European leagues. In recent days, there was no shortage of impressive victories or stunning goals, with the favorites of the championships increasingly standing out. Premier League

After the fifth round of the English Premier League, both Manchester clubs, City and United, further increased their lead over other teams.

Both City and United triumphed over their opponents. While City crushed Watford 6-0 away, United taught Everton a lesson at home with a 4-0 victory.

Other championship favorites helped widen the gap by collecting points. Liverpool failed to beat Burnley at home and drew 1-1, while Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea ended their match goalless at 0-0.

The London derby also ended in a goalless draw, with Chelsea and Arsenal splitting the points.

Liverpool reached their 1000th point playing at home in the Premier League. Prior to them, only Manchester United (1136), Arsenal (1044), and Chelsea (1026) had achieved this milestone. The Reds reached a thousand points in 484 matches, with 293 victories and 121 draws.

Crystal Palace became the first team in league history to not only fail to collect points in the first five rounds but also not score a single goal.

Sergio Aguero, scoring a hat-trick, has already hit at least three goals against opponents in the Premier League seven times. Alan Shearer (11), Robbie Fowler (9), Michael Owen, and Thierry Henry (8) have scored more hat-tricks in the league's history.
