Fernando Torres may return to Spain - the London striker wants to be purchased for around 30 million euros. Although the leaders of the English club recently stated that they do not intend to sell the 27-year-old footballer, it did not deter the Malaga team. It is hoped that an attractive offer will force Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to reconsider, as he and coach Andre Villas Boas are looking for additions to the team. Among the candidates mentioned are such famous players as Joao Moutinho, Edinson Cavani, and Mario Gotze, but their prices in the market are huge, so the sale of Torres would increase the chances of successfully concluding negotiations with these candidates. The ambitious Malaga currently occupies 7th place in the Spanish league, but has scored only 20 goals in 16 matches. Torres' statistics are also not impressive: in 11 matches in the English Premier League this season, he only managed to score twice. In total, the Spaniard played 35 matches in Chelsea's ranks in one year and scored five goals.
