The women's team will gather for a training camp in Vilnius

Despite the fact that the Lithuanian women's national team will not play official matches in this window, Daniel Wimmer's players will still gather for a camp.

The camp will take place in Vilnius from May 27 to June 1. During this time, the national team will not play official matches, but will instead test their strength in friendly matches against each other.

It is worth noting that the women's national team in this window was supposed to play two European Championship qualifying matches against Belarus, but at the beginning of this week it was officially confirmed that the matches would not be played.

Meanwhile, the camp will see the return of two footballers who have been absent for some time from the national team – Greta Lukjančukė and Greta Valikonienė.

For the first time, Lithuanian-American footballer Grace Rossner, who plays in the United States, will join the national team. The team will also include Rimantė Jonušaitė, who is successfully playing in Switzerland, and Liucija Vaitukaitytė, voted the best female footballer in Lithuania.

In the first round of European Championship qualifiers, the Lithuanian team has two matches left in July – an away game with Cyprus and a home game against Georgia.
