"The World Championship of the 'Unnecessary'"

As soon as the national team coaches announced the lineup for the championship in Brazil, fans' eyes turned to the talented players who did not receive a call from the coach. They are not injured, but for one reason or another, they will watch the tournament on TV. The excluded players could form a very strong team, which would compete for the highest awards. The losses of footballers during the championship will definitely be noticeable.

Excluded team lineup:

Goalkeeper: Diego Lopez (Real Madrid, Spain). This player has been the first choice in goal for the Spanish capital club for a year and even made the club captain and main national team goalkeeper Iker Casillas sit on the bench under the new coach Carlo Ancelotti. However, these achievements did not impress the national team coach Vicente del Bosque, who decided to take David De Gea from Manchester United and Pepe Reina from Napoli to Brazil.

Defenders: Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain, Brazil). Despite playing a key role in the Paris team's defense alongside compatriot Thiago Silva, Marquinhos was overlooked by coach Luis Felipe Scolari, who surprisingly chose Henrique from Napoli. Perhaps due to his young age, the coach saw the defender as too inexperienced for such high-level competitions, but his statistics with Roma and PSG speak for themselves.

Federico Fazio (Sevilla, Argentina). The defender who rarely makes mistakes and excels at controlling and intercepting the ball. His selfless play in the UEFA Europa League final against Benfica is another proof of his abilities. Despite his efforts, Fazio was snubbed once again from the national team.

Joao Miranda (Atletico Madrid, Brazil). The exclusion of the main center-back of the Spanish champions from the final team was a big surprise. Miranda was undoubtedly the best defender in La Liga this season.

Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid, Brazil). The reliable left-back, who was a key part of the third best defense in Europe, was left out of the team. Another surprising decision by coach Scolari, who chose veteran Maxwell from PSG instead.

Midfielders: Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool, Brazil). The dynamic midfielder played a crucial role for Liverpool this season, but was not chosen in the attacking midfield position, with Oscar from Chelsea and Bernard from Shakhtar Donetsk getting the nod instead.

Isco (Real Madrid, Spain). The talented midfielder, who played regularly for Real Madrid, was edged out by Santi Cazorla, who has more experience in the national team.

Samir Nasri (Manchester City, France). Despite a great season, Nasri was left out of the team due to issues with team spirit. The French coach did not want to repeat the internal conflicts that occurred during the previous championship.

Forwards: Lucas Moura (Paris Saint-Germain, Brazil). The speedy and creative winger, who lost his place in the starting lineup at PSG, was surprisingly not included in the final team.

Carlos Tevez (Juventus, Argentina). The top scorer from Argentina chose not to participate in the tournament and spend time with his family, giving way to other forwards like Higuain and Palacio.

Stephan El Shaarawy (AC Milan, Italy). Despite recovering from injuries, the young talent did not make it into the national team's lineup.

Substitute players bench: Willy Caballero (Malaga, Argentina) - goalkeeper; Jose Callejon (Napoli, Spain) - winger, can play in midfield; Alexandre Pato (Corinthians/Sao Paulo, Brazil) - striker, can play on the wing; Radja Nainggolan (AS Roma, Belgium) - midfielder; Ashley Cole (Chelsea, England) - left-back; Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Borussia Monchengladbach/FC Barcelona, Germany) - goalkeeper; Max Kruse (Borussia Monchengladbach, Germany) - striker; Javier Pastore (Paris Saint-Germain, Argentina) - attacking midfielder.
