Dortmund's "Borussia" young defender Ilkay Gundogan has attracted the attention of Spanish giants, as reported by the Spanish press.
The 22-year-old German's services have caught the interest of Madrid's "Real" and "Barcelona" clubs. However, it would be slightly easier for "Real" to acquire this footballer.
The Royal club would suggest buying out Nuri Sahin's contract completely. I. Gundogan would be purchased as a player to take over Xabi Alonso's position, as the Spaniard is most likely leaving Madrid in 2014.
The promising defender moved to the German champions' team in 2011 from "Nuremberg". In less than two seasons on the field, he has appeared 46 times and scored 5 goals.
