Belgian national team received a solid reinforcement.
However, the "Red Devils" squad was supplemented not by a capable player, but by a world-renowned expert.
It was officially announced that the new Belgian coach Roberto Martinez will be assisted by Frenchman Thierry Henry, who will take on the duties of an assistant.
"It was very important to inject experience into our coaching staff. T.Henry brought some of that new experience. He was part of the French national team that achieved the dream of winning something unbelievable and embarked on this journey from 1996 to 1998, when they triumphed in the World Cup," Martinez said.
He also announced the composition of the Belgian team for the friendly match against the Spaniards on September 1:
