FBK team will no longer have the help of forward Arkadiusz Klimek this season. The legionnaire from Poland did not represent the residents of Kaunas already in the previous round match against Vilnius "Vėtra", and now he will have to miss the teams' mutual meeting in the LFF Cup final taking place on Saturday.

The thirty-year-old footballer suffered an injury on October 15 in Kaunas during a match against "Šilute". "Kaunas" head coach Igoris Pankratjevas officially told the "A Lyga" website that the legionnaire will definitely not appear on the field this season.

"I am not a doctor, so I cannot say exactly what happened to Klimek. The doctors' council will decide whether the forward will need surgery," said Pankratjevas.

Klimek has been wearing the jersey of the Lithuanian champions club since July of this year. He quickly adapted to the team and played very effectively, especially in August, when he scored two goals in three consecutive matches.

In total, the legionnaire defeated opponents' goalkeepers eight times in eight matches of the Lithuanian football "A Lyga". "Kaunas" only Ričardas Beniušis and Andrius Velička play more effectively than Klimek.
