The Portuguese criticized the club's management during the tour in the USA, where the "Red Devils" did not impress with their performance in preseason matches.
Although not all leaders were in the team at that time, the coach is afraid that they may not be enough for the upcoming season.

"I think two players is not what I will get. I think it happens before the season practically in every club, because the coach always wants more. That is our nature, and we always want more for the team."
"However, the decisions of the club are different. Usually, you don't get what you want, and that has happened throughout my entire career. If I acquire one player by the end of the transfer window, everything will be fine."
The Portuguese also received questions about the starting eleven.
"I know it will be about the same. It won't change much," Mourinho added.
"Essentially, we have the same players. Those we bought are a backup goalkeeper, a 19-year-old boy, and essentially the only new player Fred, so our team will not be drastically different."
The mentioned backup goalkeeper is Lee Grant, and the 19-year-old boy is defender Diogo Dalot, who arrived from "Porto".
