Milan's "Inter" owner Erick Thohir shared his dreams.
Indonesian not sparing big sums of money hopes for a small miracle - that in the near future the Italian team will return to the top ten of Europe's strongest clubs.
This season "Inter" will have a chance to show its abilities in the Europa League tournament.
"I dream that my team will play in the 2016 Champions League final (which will be held at the "San Siro" stadium - ed. note).
I think we have assembled a strong team and our goal is to rise higher than fifth place in the "Serie A" championship. It is still difficult to say whether we will make it to the Champions League tournament," Thohir said.
"We want to return among the top ten elite clubs in Europe and we will have to increase our revenues to avoid breaking the fair play rules"
The last time "Inter" became the strongest club in Europe was in 2010, when the club in Milan was led by Jose Mourinho.
