According to German media reports, at 11 o'clock there were 400 thousand people in the fans' zone.
At the airport, the footballers of the "Lufthansa" airlines boarded a special 13-meter long "Mercedes" bus with an open roof.
The first to step out, holding the precious international football trophy, was the captain of the German team, Philipp Lahm.
He marked the symbolic dates - 1954, 1974, 1990, and 2014. These are the years when the German national team became world champions.
Leading up to the main event, hundreds of thousands of Germans lined the route of the German national team's champions.
Germany eagerly awaited their heroes. During the flight, they joyfully posed for photos with the trophy.
Although the footballers looked tired, they gathered the last bit of strength to celebrate an incredible victory with their nation.
"There is still plenty ahead for this team. We have many young talented players. With the current football system, the German national team doesn't need to fear the future," - said the team's coach Joachim Loewas to journalists as he disembarked from the plane.
