In the Spanish championship on Wednesday, four matches were played.
The leader Madrid "Real" scored three important points in a principled derby, defeating the other capital team "Atletico" 4-1.
Cristiano Ronaldo led Jose Mourinho's wards to victory in the away game: the Portuguese scored three goals, allowing to maintain a safe four-point advantage over the "Barcelona" club, which is in second position.
Ronaldo scored his first goal in the 25th minute with a great penalty kick, but shortly after the break, Radamel Falcao equalized with a header. However, in the 68th minute, C.Ronaldo regained the lead for the "Real" team with an impressive shot from afar, and in the 82nd minute secured the victory by converting a penalty earned by Gonzalo Higuain.
Jose Callejon scored the fourth goal after coming on as a substitute.
