The German newspaper "Bild" announces that three Premier League teams are interested in Borussia Dortmund's defensive midfielder Sven Bender.
Since taking over the reins at BvB, Thomas Tuchel is no longer sure of a place in the starting lineup, which immediately caught the attention of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Southampton all looking to strengthen in the midfield.
The "Gunners" have been eyeing a player in this position both last summer and during the winter transfer window. Although Francis Coquelin unexpectedly shone in 2015, Arsene Wenger is believed to not pass up the opportunity to find the right purchase.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is forced to strengthen their midfield as captain Steven Gerrard is leaving for the U.S. next season, and Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is not sure if the team will be able to keep Morgan Schneiderlin.
However, English clubs may be deterred by the fact that Bender only played 13 matches in the Bundesliga last season.
