Three football players leave the 'Panevėžys' club

The "Panevėžys” football club has parted ways with three players. In the 2025 season, defender Robertas Mazanis and two midfielders – Aironas Trakšelis and Nicolas Gorobsovas – will no longer represent the team.

30-year-old Slovak R. Mazanis had 2 assists in 31 matches in the previous season of the Lithuanian championship. In the Champions League qualifying matches, the defender played 4 games and also assisted teammates twice.

After two more matches in the Europa League and the Conference League, R. Mazanis will continue his career at Pazardžik "Hebar” club, from which he arrived at "Panevėžys.”

35-year-old N. Gorobsovas appeared in 28 games in the "TOPsport A league,” scoring 3 goals during those matches. The Argentine also played once in the LFF Cup and in the recently concluded Super Cup in 2024, converting a penalty during the series.

The midfielder played 7 times in international competitions, missing only the away match against Oswestry's "The New Saints.” In a home match against Helsinki HJK, N. Gorobsovas scored accurately from the penalty spot.

19-year-old Šilutė native A. Trakšelis scored 3 goals in 26 matches in the "TOPsport First League.”
