It is reported that the trio of "Napoli" - Lorenzo Insigne, Jorginho, and Dries Mertens, is ready to sign new contracts with this Italian team. According to Calcio Mercato, all three players were targeted by "Arsenal" club, but decided to commit to their current club. Jorginho and Mertens are expected to soon extend their contracts until 2020, while Insigne, whose contract is currently valid until 2019, hopes to conclude discussions on a new contract by the end of this season. 24-year-old Insigne played 17 matches in Serie A this season, scoring 7 goals, 28-year-old Mertens scored once in 13 games, and 24-year-old Jorginho did not score any goals in 16 matches. "Napoli" is currently sharing second-third positions with "Fiorentina" after seventeen rounds in the Italian championship. They are just a few points behind the leading team "Inter".
