The goalkeeper of the Portuguese national team and the Spanish super club Deco was attacked by three aggressively minded youngsters.
"I was in my car in the town of Leca de Palmeira when a car with three young people inside started following me," Deco told the Portuguese newspaper "Correio de Maha."
"They began insulting me, and then got out of the car wanting to hit me, so I was forced to defend myself," Deco spoke about the incident.
The Portuguese police identified the cause of this attack as a transfer that took place this summer, in which Deco moved to Barcelona. Deco was not harmed during this incident and continues his vacation with his family on the Iberian Peninsula.
