KFK "Šiauliai" and the football player terminated the contract by mutual agreement. After a short break, the former left-back of the "Šiauliai" team in the Lithuanian championship is unofficially rumored to play for the Panevėžys team "Ekranas".
After the break, the main "Šiauliai" team started training with five young football players from the "Šiauliai 2" team, which competes in the first league. These are the nineteen-year-olds P.Šidlauskas, N.Garuckas, A.Garuckas, M.Valys, and M.Lukoševičius.
On July 1, with the opening of the transfer window, the "Šiauliai" team was already reinforced by experienced forward Egidijus Varnas, who has already made his debut in the team's victorious match against FBK "Kaunas".
Having finished the first half of the championship impressively (victories against "Atlantas" 2-0 and "Kaunas" 1-0, and a draw with "Ekranas" 2-2), KFK "Šiauliai" currently occupies the seventh place in the standings with 19 points.
